Good morning / Good evening every one
Today I am here to talk on a subject which affects every human being globally. My words are not just speech on saving environment. But it is a request to everyone to take action so that we can save our planet. Environment is our life support system, but we are continuously and recklessly polluting, exploiting, and harming its resources. We need to take immediate and dedicated action for saving environment.
Every day, we are destroying forests, marine life, and biodiversity due to improper human activities. Deforestation, excessive use of plastic, and carbon emissions are damaging our air, water, and soil at a very fast pace. I would like to share few horrible facts, which is enough to warn you, why saving environment is important? Did you know that every year 18 million acres of green forests are destroyed? This is equivalent to 27 soccer fields being destroyed every minute. If our forests do not survive, we will lose not only beautiful landscapes, but also the balance that keeps our atmosphere healthy and supports many types of life, including us.
The simplest and also impactful thing we can do for saving environment is to, minimize and reduce waste, reuse, and recycle. Even small actions, like using reusable bags, reducing plastic, saving water, and using public transport for commutation. These small steps can make a huge difference. Imagine if everyone takes just one small step daily, this can do a huge turnaround, and together we can create a huge positive impact on our planet towards saving environment and its biodiversity.
Protecting and saving environment is not just a matter of keeping everything green and beautiful; it is something more than that, It is about protecting life and ensuring that future generations gets a world in which they can live healthy and happily. We have to look Earth as our shared home. Can we allow garbage, pollution, and destruction in our home? We all have to adopt positive mindset for our planet. As, so far the planet earth is only known habitable planet in the universe.
In the end, let us all make a commitment and pledge to take a few daily actions that can change our world. Treat every day like Earth Day. Through this speech on saving environment, I hope that everyone will be inspired to do their part, so that we can save our environment and protect the future of our planet.
